i name her hoshi-chan.

i'm upset by the colour scheme.
it started out as one of the best pieces i've done and ended up being one of those which i disliked the most. in the end i got so demoralised that i did a sloppy job with the background. and it was also the first time i did bright coloured hair so i messed up a little. dark colours are easier to deal with, i found out.

from hoshi-chan i have learnt to plan my colours in advance. thank you hoshi-chan!

edit:k, i've made the lines darker... i stilll dont really like this pic though. T.T

It's still really good you know that? I don't think you should be upset by it at all! And yeah, that's always the way isn't it? Every new bit of work you do is the best ever, then you sort of realise it really wasn't that good in the first place. (Well I personally like it!)

oooh! Pretty! I like the soft colours. The drawing is really nice too, with the clothing, the hair and whole pose.
The colour scheme isn't too bad. You could make the lineart a little darker however.

T.T i think i shall make them darker and resubmit.

and i think in the near future i shall make a proper pic for hoshi too, or else it'll be very unfair to her T.T
